Thank you for using Purely Collage (the "App"). Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information. Please read it carefully before using the App.
Core principle: Purely Collage is a fully on-device collage tool — your photos, works and activity stay on your device. We never upload, store or share your photos or personal data.
1. Information we collect
The App does not collect any personal information. No account, no sign-in, no phone number or email required. Specifically:
Photos: Photos you pick are processed locally on your device by the iOS PhotosUI / Vision frameworks for collage rendering, subject extraction (on-device Vision model) and export. Photo data never leaves your device and is never uploaded to any server.
Purchases: Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through StoreKit. We only read your current entitlement state (Pro or not) locally. We never see your Apple ID or payment details.
Smart Layout (on-device model): On supported devices, layout recommendation copy may be generated by Apple's on-device large model (Foundation Models). Inference runs entirely on your device with no network requests. Unsupported devices automatically fall back to local rule-based text.
Crashes & performance: This version integrates no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Crash logs are produced by iOS itself; you choose whether to share them with Apple in "Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements".
2. Permissions we use
Photo library read (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription): only so you can pick photos to collage.
Photo library add (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): only to save your finished collages to Photos.
Both are requested on demand and can be revoked anytime in iOS "Settings → Purely Collage".
3. What we never do
We never upload your photos or collages to any server;
We show no third-party ads;
No ad tracking, no IDFA, no App Tracking Transparency;
No third-party analytics, push or crash-reporting SDKs;
We never share, sell or rent any of your information to anyone.
4. Data storage
Your work history, favorites, quota and preferences are stored only on your device (UserDefaults / app sandbox). Uninstalling the App removes them permanently.
5. Children's privacy
The App is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
6. Subscriptions & payments
The App offers a monthly membership, a yearly membership (auto-renewing subscriptions) and a lifetime one-time purchase, all billed through the Apple App Store. Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS "Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions". We never receive your payment information.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page and highlighted in the App. Material changes are announced on app launch.
